Unit 2- Tutor Feedback

After our exam, the whole class got feedback about how well we were doing so far and we found out which areas we needed to improve on out of: Critical Studies & Ideas, Techniques & Editing, Journey, Outcomes and Effort. I'm really pleased with my grades so far, but some areas could be improved, and if I improved my Techniques & Editing, my Outcomes grade will automatically be brought up for me.

My grades so far are:

Critical Studies & Ideas - B
Techniques & Editing - C/B
Journey - B
Outcomes - C/B
Effort - A

We also got some comments from our teacher Kirsty, she thought that my over all project was good and my Journey was good, but sometimes my models can appear uncomfortable in some images and my editing can sometimes be a little bit too heavy. But over all I am happy with where my project is going and my down falls are easily changed.

Unit 2- Shoot 5

This shoot is probably my favourite one so far, and it just so happens to be my Exam Shoot. Although there were some complications with model issues because my original model dropped out last minute, I think it turned out quite well. So over all, I am really pleased with this shoot and I'm glad this shoot is my Exam Shoot. :)

Out of the whole shoot I think this one is my favourite because of the depth and detail of the photo and the Compositional Elements.

Unit 2- Shoot 4

This was originally a practice shoot for my exam, but I decided to put it in as an actual shoot to help show the journey through my portfolio and show how I've developed my ideas and skills through out the course. Some of the shots did turn out a bit too dark, however these are the ones I chose for selected and edited.

Unit 2- Shoot 3

Okay, so I had to actually think about what to do with this shoot. I think I did quite well still though. I did originally have three models for this shoot, and I did take images of them all but I decided to cut the images out with the other 2 people in them as I thought it was too much and they weren't exactly what I wanted but I'm still quite proud of what I achieved in this shoot.

Unit 2- Shoot 2

Shoot two was still fun even though I had to develop my ideas from shoot 1 and I couldn't experiment that much. It also happened in my back garden, which as it happens fitted quite well into what I was trying to do because, at that time it looked like a bomb site to be honest. But anyway, these are my ten edited shots from that shoot.
